Weprimarilyderiverevenuefromsalesofpackagedinteractivesoftwaregamesdesignedforplayonvideogameconsoles(suchasthePS2,XboxandGameCube),PCsand
hand-heldgamedevices(suchastheGBA,NDSandPSP).WealsoderiverevenuefromourdistributionbusinessinEuropethatprovideslogisticalandsalesservicesto
third-partypublishersofinteractiveentertainmentsoftware,ourownpublishingoperationsandthird-partymanufacturersofinteractiveentertainmenthardware.

• Strongperformancesfromourpublishingbusinessonthereleasesofourlargesteverlineupoftitlesincluding:
Spider-Man 2, Call of Duty: Finest Hour, THUG 2, Shrek 2,
X-Men Legends, Doom 3, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Shark Tale, Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2005
and
Rome: Total War
.Thestrengthofthesetitlescombinedwiththesignificant
salesandmarketinginvestmentledtoovertenmillion-unitsellingtitlesandachievementofourgoalofhavingfourmulti-million-unitsellingtitles.Wealsohadstrong
catalogsalesfromanumberofourfranchisesincludingTonyHawk,TrueCrime,Spider-ManandCallofDuty.Asaresultofthestrongperformanceofourkeyfiscal
2005releases,wewereabletomaintaintheoriginalpricepointsforthosetitlesforanextendedperiodoftime.
• ContinuedfocusoninternationalpublishingexpansionwiththeopeningofofficesinSpainandItalyandanincreasedfocusonotherterritoriescontributingtoan
increaseinInternationalPublishingrevenuesof72%overfiscal2004.
• Anincreaseinourhand-heldplatformpresencegrowingconsolidatedhand-heldrevenuesby$118.7millionor274%from$43.3millionfortheyearendedMarch31,
2004to$162.0millionfortheyearendedMarch31,2005.ThiswasdrivenbyasignificantincreaseinthenumberofGBAtitlesreleasedfromfourtitlesinfiscal2004
toeleventitlesinfiscal2005,andbytheintroductionofthePSPandNDSplatforms,forwhichwereleasedacombinedtotalofthreetitles.
• Internationalnetrevenuesbenefitedfromthestrongyear-over-yearstrengtheningoftheEuro(“EUR”)andGreatBritishPound(“GBP”)inrelationtotheU.S.dollar.
Weestimatethatforeignexchangeratesincreasedreportednetrevenuesbyapproximately$55.3million.Excludingtheimpactofchangingforeigncurrencyrates,
ourinternationalnetrevenuesincreased31%year-over-year.
