Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held at the Wyndham
Buttes Resort, 2000 Westcourt Way, Tempe, Ariz., on November 29,

Dividends Declared*
Cash Dividends on the Company's common stock were 7.5 cents
per share during each quarter of fiscal years 2001 and 2000. Avnet
has announced it will discontinue paying cash dividends after its
anticipated dividend payment on January 2, 2002.
