EXTRAORDINARY CHARGES
“Contingent liabilities” mainly include minor cost items pertaining to previous years (EUR 3.5 million) and a write-down relating to
improvements made to third-party assets at the Company’s previous premises (EUR 1.4 million), which were sold during the year
following the completion of the new headquarters.
Extraordinary charges include EUR 2.3 million in costs billed by Telecom Italia in relation to settlement agreements. A further EUR
7.2 million relates to the recording of lower revenues than expected in 2002, after kickback agreements signed with Telecom Italia
were revised in 2003.
