Management Training Program Leadership is essential to our company’s ability to achieve
our short- and long-term business goals in an increasingly
dynamic global environment. Hence, we are fully commit-
ted to preparing the leaders who will successfully guide
our organization now and into the future.
Our ACHIEVE program is key to our development of
executives with strong leadership capabilities. A core part
of a portfolio of leadership development initiatives, the
programs primary objectives are to provide emerging
leaders with the opportunity to better understand and
improve their leadership fundamentals; learn, practice,
and apply specific new tools and frameworks in both a
leadership and business context; and contribute tangi-
ble value through their work on breakthrough projects.
Through ACHIEVE, participating top-tier managers and
newly appointed directors develop their leadership skills
immersed in real-life projects selected by the Executive
Committee that focus on capturing and creating value for
our company and our stakeholders.
Complementing ACHIEVE is our Leader-to-Leader
(L2L) mentoring program, which enables senior-level
leaders to support executive development by prepar-
ing them as faculty and mentors in the context of our
ACHIEVE program. Composed of country managers and
functional leaders, these well established senior exec-
utives are provided with the extraordinary opportunity
to deepen their own leadership expertise by develop-
ing specific skills mentoring ACHIEVE participants—
sharing their experience and providing their support
Recognizing that their immediate supervisor con-
tributes the most to our peoples engagement and
retention, we are enabling our managers to better
support the development of their teams and foster
employees’ commitment to our organization. Our
Management Training Program helps managers learn
how to lead more effectively and develop talent more
fully. To date, this program has provided approxi-
mately 17,000 hours of training for nearly 1,400
participants worldwide.
Developing leaders for today
and tomorrow
To foster our peoples professional growth, we utilize a
dialogue-based development process, Talent Review.
Through this process, our employees’ performance,
personal interests, and potential are assessed in con-
sensus with their direct supervisor and peers, as well as
with their area leader. The process opens a constructive
forum for discussion about our people, builds a common
language to evaluate and identify talent, outlines talent
gaps, and empowers our organization to actively partici-
pate in our employees’ development. Since its inception,
we have assessed 1,365 employees across all of our
regions and corporate areas.
During the year, we supported nearly 600 employees
through different scholarship opportunities. This is part
of our commitment to prepare highly skilled people for an
increasingly competitive local and global marketplace.
