to Shareholders
2015 marked the 33rd consecutive
year Aflac Incorporated increased
its annual dividend. Including
reinvested cash dividends, Aflac’s
total shareholder return increased
.5% in 2015. This compares with
a total return decline of 6.3% for
the S&P Life & Health Index and
an increase of 1.4% for the S&P
500 and .2% for the Dow Jones
Industrial Average. For many years,
we have managed our business with a
long-term view in mind. As a result:
Over the last five years, Aflac’s
total shareholder return, including
reinvested dividends, was 21.0%.
Over the last 10 years, Aflac’s total
return to shareholders, including
reinvested dividends, was 62.8%.
