MAKING SMART VALVES SMARTER
Tyco Flow Control is pioneering the use of intelligent Automated Valve Interface
Devices (AVID™), also known as “smart valves.” This new range of products drives
productivity and efficiency in critical fluid handling systems in a variety of
industrial applications. Either through an open architecture wired network or through
wireless communications, smart valve systems remove manual processes and
provide a new level of management, including real-time data collection and condition
monitoring, that increases speed, safety, and total system reliability.
