They have chosen to start a family and are expecting in August!
After sitting beside each other on airlines travelling all over the world, it’s perhaps
fitting that Ana and Kris Olson ended up working for one.
Ana is a web services analyst in marketing, and Kris is a business analyst in BeanLand
- helping keep our finances in tune, not unlike the Bolivian “chorango” he plays now
and then.
Married for two years, they’ve lived in 10 countries around the world, including
Barbados, Guatemala, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan and El Salvador. They returned
to Canada in 2003. Over their travels they’ve known their share of change, challenges,
and diversity. And they know first hand that friendliness, smiles and an upbeat
attitude transcend all cultures.
Perhaps that explains why Kris and Ana Olson are so happy as WestJetters.
They don’t like or even understand the reality tv craze
“We choose to work at WestJet
They maintain an opinion-based travel website at lifeisgrand.org
They have two CD collections - “acceptable” music
and “non-acceptable” (also known as “his collection”)
WestJet believed in us and our experiences. They thought we
had something unique to offer - maybe a slightly different way
of looking at an organization so focused on its guests - through
the eyes of those guests, from many different cultures and
many walks of life. We respect the ethics of WestJet, and it
certainly looks like we’re here to stay.”
~Ana and Kris Olson, WestJetters
