Blu-ray Disc Player Delivers True High-Definition Video
In June 2007, Pioneer launched a Blu-ray Disc player that produces true high-definition
video in Japan, North America and Europe. This product plays back video on Blu-ray
Discs, a new-generation optical disc media, at a finer resolution than DVDs and even
minute details that get lost in high-definition broadcasting.
Going forward, more titles of a higher quality are expected to be released on the
Blu-ray Disc format. With the launch of this Blu-ray Disc player, Pioneer will satisfy
demand for high-definition video, which is growing in step with the expanding flat-
panel TV market.
Top-of-the-line DVJ-1000 DVD/CD Player for DJs and VJs
In fall 2006, Pioneer brought to market the DVJ-1000, its latest DVD/CD player model
that allows users to freely manipulate video and audio recorded on DVDs.
Pioneer has established a reputation as a leading brand in the DJ equipment
industry with CD players for DJs. This new DVD/CD player model features a diverse
array of upgraded DJ functions from Pioneer’s CD players. At the same time, it
enables many more performance possibilities and modes of expression through the
simultaneous manipulation of video and audio. With this new product, Pioneer is
creating an entirely new genre of DJ and VJ performances.
Further Evolution in Pioneer Car Audio Products
Pioneer’s car audio products are acclaimed worldwide not only for their high quality but
also for their sound quality, outstanding user friendliness, and sophisticated design.
Looking at initiatives to offer high sound quality, Pioneer is introducing a premium
car audio series in various countries around the world. In this series, which is focused
on achieving high-fidelity playback of original sounds, products are fitted with
cutting-edge technologies for minimizing sound quality degradation, such as optical
transmission systems, to realize absolutely superior sound quality.
Aiming to stay on top of the increasingly diverse ways of enjoying music in
daily life, Pioneer is reinforcing the value-added functions of car audio products,
including compatibility with the Bluetooth® wireless communications standard and
inter-operability with portable digital audio devices.
