ANNUAL REPORT AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 2016
OUR PERFORMANCEGOVERNANCEFINANCIAL STATEMENTS
We have 468 stores across Europe,
Asia and the Middle East. We operate
through three di erent business models
– owned, franchise and joint venture –
to bring our quality Clothing & Home
collections and Food ranges to our
international customers. We also have
a growing international online business
delivered through localised owned
and franchise websites and through
partnerships with leading marketplaces.
For 132 years, our customers have trusted
M&S to behave in a responsible way.
The commitments we make through
Plan A ensure that we make a positive
di erence, whether it’s sourcing
responsibly, conserving energy,
reducing waste or supporting the
communities we serve. In a world facing
rapidly growing environmental and social
challenges, we believe we can make
a di erence by leading the way on
truly sustainable change.
