Every Cash America location is brightly lit, well-organized and
stocked with a wide selection of quality pre-owned merchandise.
Our friendly, knowledgeable staff makes the pawn experience even
more inviting.
Because the need for nancial support is universal, the exploration
of new markets will be an ongoing endeavor. Wherever people are
in need of real-life cash solutions, Cash America will investigate
new opportunities to deliver.
During 2013, we completed acquisitions including a 41-store chain
of pawn locations in Texas and a 34-store chain of pawn locations
in Atlanta and North Carolina. These acquisitions of 75 stores
provided signicant growth in three important markets for our
products. As of December 31, 2013, Cash America operated a total
of 1,006 locations offering specialty nancial services. This included
869 lending locations in 22 states, 47 locations in Mexico and 90
franchised check cashing centers operating in 14 states.
Cash America continues to leverage the newest technology to
provide faster, easier services. Based on our rapidly growing
customer base, these services are meeting the needs of people
where they live and when it counts.
For a traditional pawn loan, a customer brings in personal property
as collateral in exchange for a short-term loan that is usually up to
60 days in length. Cash America offers pawn loans for a lengthy
list of items, including electronics, musical instruments, gold
