In anticipation of
returning home
from Camp Foster,
Okinawa, my husband
and I wanted to order
a new truck that
would be waiting
for us when we got
back in the U.S. The
local Navy Federal
office approved the
financing and gave
us a check for the
down payment so
we could place our
order. When we
finally got stateside,
we stopped at a
nearby Navy Federal
office for a check
covering the balance
due, then went to
the dealer to pick up
our new truck. It was
so simple, even
though we traveled
halfway around the
world in the process.
