Notes to the Consolidated Income Statement
Net revenue and income from financial services are
recognized to the extent that the respective services
have been rendered, the amount of income can be re-
liably determined and the economic benefit from the
service rendered is sure to be allocated to the Group.
In the 1999 financial year,as in the previous year,no net
revenue or income from financial services was gener-
ated based on swaps.
Another splitting of revenue by business segments
(=corporate divisions) as well as the allocation of net
revenue and income from financial services to geo-
graphical regions is described in the enclosed segment
reporting chapter.
Income from financial services included:
Net income from financial operations is the profit
minus losses from marketable securities of the trading
portfolio.
