A Supply Chain
Built To Win
Our Supply Management team leverages ServiceMaster’s purchasing
power to reduce costs, improve quality and improve overall supply chain
operations. The team’s work is guided by the principle of ensuring our
trusted experts have the resources they need, when they need them, to
deliver memorable customer experiences.
“It’s not just about negotiating better pricing and cost savings,” said Mary
Kay Wegner, senior vice president, service and operations, Terminix, who
also oversees supply management for ServiceMaster. “We view supply
management in terms of selecting and leveraging strong, strategic supplier
partners to deliver quality service and to help us meet our business goals.”
ServiceMaster’s size and scale also create opportunity for our customers
and franchisees to tap into our supply chain and gain value from our buying
power. As a result, our franchisees have access to more competitive
pricing for everything from employee uniforms and ofce supplies to travel
and technology. American Home Shield (AHS) customers also can take
advantage of signicant discounts through the AHS Appliance Discount
Program.
“In addition to discounts and volume pricing on products and services
they probably couldn’t obtain on their own, our franchisees also enjoy
the value of centralized warehousing and timely shipping throughout the
United States,” said Terry Ingram, vice president, supply management.
“It’s all part of the value we can bring to our partners who participate in the
ServiceMaster network.”
At ServiceMaster, we also look to our suppliers to keep up with the latest
trends and to deliver innovation – and we continually review our supplier
network to ensure it meets strict standards for quality and customer service;
so, in turn, we can pass those innovations along to our customers.
The Supply
