THE RIGHT MIX
THE RIGHT MIX
The Black Dog Generating Station in Burnsville, Minn., is
transitioning to a natural gas facility, part of Xcel Energy’s plan to
signicantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions. In Colorado, we also
retired a coal unit at the Cherokee Generating Station and completed
construction of a new combined-cycle natural gas plant— two
signicant milestones in our Clean Air-Clean Jobs project.
