(a) Save As You Earn is an all employee share scheme. Options are not subject to performance conditions. All options are exercisable from 1 February in the year which
is six years from the year of grant. All options expire six months from their exercise date (i.e. on 1 August of the relevant year). Mr R Brasher exercised his options on
14 February 2007 when the market price was 437.0 pence. All other Directors exercised options on 1 February 2007 when the market price was 419.5 pence.
No options lapsed in the year.
(b) Miss L Neville-Rolfe was appointed on 14 December 2006. No options have been granted or exercised from the date of her appointment.
