• Personal computers, servers, network
systems, network-related software,
application software, services, support, etc.
Performance
Despite the increased sales of useware and
software both in Japan and overseas, sales of
PCs and servers within Japan were on the
decline, and as a result total sales in the segment
slipped 0.8% from the previous fiscal year,
to ¥195.8 billion ($1,883 million).
Highlights
To assist customers in achieving optimal
total printing costs, we further bolstered
our solution business by using useware,
document management and software, and
saw sales rise in this area both in Japan and
overseas. New products released during this
fiscal year in Japan include Ridoc IO
Account Pro, a print management and
analysis utility software that enables the
integrated management of document printing
for all offices. DocumentMall, a document
management solution for overseas customers,
also had its functions upgraded, and is
proving to be popular.
Aficio 1075 is used in the Office of Research at Macquarie University in Australia.
