released the result s of a poll of chief execut ive officers
around the wor ld. The survey placed Ricoh sixt h
among t he W orld’s Most Respect ed Companies in
the cat egory of “companies that best manage envir on-
mental resour ces.
2003 WEC Gold Medal
Winner
In M ay 20 03, Ricoh received the W orld Environment
Center ’s prest igious 19 th annual W EC Gold M edal for
Internat ional Corpor at e Achievement in Sust ainable
Development from Dr. Klaus Toeofer, execut ive direct or
of the Unit ed Nat ions Environment al Programme.
