Hong Kong
Cathay Pacific is an international airline registered and
based in Hong Kong, offering scheduled passenger
and cargo services to 141 destinations in 39 countries
and territories around the world.
The Company was founded in Hong Kong in 1946 and
remains deeply committed to its home base, making
substantial investments to develop Hong Kong as one
of the world’s leading global transportation hubs. In
addition to its fleet of 127 wide-bodied aircraft, these
investments include catering and ground-handling
companies and the corporate headquarters at Hong
Kong International Airport. Cathay Pacific is also
building its own state-of-the-art cargo terminal at the
airport, which will open in early 2013.
Hong Kong Dragon Airlines (“Dragonair”) is a wholly
owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific. Dragonair is an
Asian regional airline, registered and based in Hong
Kong, which offers scheduled passenger and cargo
services to 33 destinations in 14 countries and
territories with a fleet of 31 aircraft. Cathay Pacific also
