Total shareholder return
The graph opposite shows the value, at 31 December 2012, of £100
invested in Barclays on 31 December 2007 compared with the value
of £100 invested in the FTSE 100 Index. The other points plotted are
the values at intervening financial year ends. The FTSE 100 Index is
a widely recognised performance comparison for large UK companies
and this is why it has been chosen as a comparator to illustrate
Barclays total shareholder return.
Statutory remuneration disclosures
This page includes details of Directors’ remuneration in line with
current UK directors’ remuneration disclosure requirements.
Accordingly the figures shown for 2012 in the tables on this page for
Antony Jenkins and for Bob Diamond are for the period during which
they served as executive Directors (30 August 2012 to 31 December
2012 for Antony Jenkins, and 1 January 2012 to 3 July 2012 for Bob
Diamond). Antony Jenkins’ full year 2012 remuneration was £2.596m
and is shown in more detail on pages 88 and 89.
