Our executive, corporate staff, divisional staff and financial offices occupy approximately 2.2 million square feet of leased
and owned space in Atlanta, Georgia. At the end of fiscal 2013 including the offices in Atlanta, we occupied an aggregate of
approximately 3.4 million square feet, of which approximately 2.1 million is owned and approximately 1.3 million is leased,
for store support centers and customer support centers.
Item 3. Legal Proceedings.
We are reporting the following proceedings to comply with SEC regulations, which require us to disclose certain information
about proceedings arising under federal, state or local environmental provisions if we reasonably believe that such
proceedings may result in monetary sanctions of $100,000 or more.
As previously reported, in November 2013, the Company received subpoenas from the District Attorney of Alameda County,
California, working with the District Attorney of San Joaquin County and the California Attorney General's office, seeking
documents and information relating to the Company's disposal of hazardous waste at its California facilities. Although the
Company cannot predict the outcome of this proceeding, it does not expect the outcome to have a material adverse effect on
its consolidated financial condition, results of operations or cash flows.
