Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Northeast Utilities will
be held at 10:30 a.m. on May 10, 2005, at the offices of Public
Service Company of New Hampshire, Energy Park, 780 North
Commercial Street, Manchester, New Hampshire.
Compliance with New York Stock Exchange Corporate Governance Rules
The Company’s Form 10-K for 2004 contained the certification
required by Section 302 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and
on June 9, 2004, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer provided
the New York Stock Exchange with the required annual written
certification that he was not aware of any violations by the Company
of the Exchange’s corporate governance listing standards.
