andconsequentlywearenolongerprovidingseparateoperatingsegmentdisclosureandhave
reclassifiedourpriorperiods’segmentpresentationsothatitconformstothecurrentperiod’s
presentation.
Issuanceofcontingentconsiderationconsistsofadditionalpurchaseconsiderationpaidoraccrued
during2009and2008inrelationtopreviousacquisitions.Thetaxbenefitcreditedtogoodwillrepresents
thetaxdeductionresultingfromtheexerciseofstockoptionsthatwereoutstandingandvestedatthe
consummationoftheBusinessCombinationandincludedinthepurchasepriceofActivision,Inc.tothe
extentthatthetaxdeductiondidnotexceedthefairvalueofthoseoptions.Conversely,totheextentthat
thetaxdeductiondidexceedthefairvalueofthoseoptions,thetaxbenefitiscreditedtoaccumulatedpaid
incapital.
