FINANCIAL RESULTS
Included in gross residential mortgages are Canadian govern-
ment-insured mortgages of $39,204 million at October 31, 2001
(2000 – $32,891 million). Gross impaired loans include foreclosed
assets held for sale with a gross carrying value of $51 million at
October 31, 2001 (2000 – $108 million) and a related allowance
of $4 million (2000 – $63 million).
