economy, the functional currency of the Company’s Venezuelan subsidiary is the U.S. dollar. Therefore, the
Company remeasured the local statement of financial position of its Venezuela entity as of February 8, 2013 to
reflect the impact of the devaluation to the official exchange rate from 4.3 to 6.3 Bolivar fuerte per U.S.
dollar. The effect of the devaluation of the Bolivar fuerte was recorded in other expense, net and resulted in a
$1,953 reduction to the Company’s pretax income during Fiscal 2013.
