PSEG Power’s wholesale energy business—one of the largest in
the eastern United States—also has a fundamental commitment
to reliability. Its goal is to be the best-run energy company
wherever it competes—in safety, reliability, environmental
stewardship and shareholder value.
PSEG Power’s electric generating stations have a combined
capacity of approximately 14,000 megawatts—enough power
to light about ten million homes. Most of PSEG Power’s
generating assets are strategically located within PJM, one of
the nation’s largest and most developed energy markets, in a
region covering a significant part of the eastern United States.
The ability to tap diverse sources of generation contributes
to reliability. PSEG Power’s generation fleet is diversified
by technology and market segment as well as fuel source.
