ING’s Governance
REMUNERATION SUPERVISORY BOARD
In 2002, the remuneration of the members and
former members of the Supervisory Board
amounted to EUR 0.6 million (2001: EUR 0.6 million).
The remuneration of the chairman and vice-
chairman amounted to EUR 68,100; other members
received a remuneration of EUR 38,600. Members
of a Supervisory Board Committee not being
chairman or vice-chairman of the Supervisory
Board, received a remuneration of EUR 1,800 for
that membership.

REMUNERATION OF THE MEMBERS AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE SUPERVISORY BOARD

As at 31 December 2002, the amount of loans
and advances outstanding to the Supervisory
Board was EUR 1.6 million at an average rate of
4.7%. This amount concerns a loan to Aad
Jacobs. No loans and advances were outstanding
to other members of the Supervisory Board. In
2001, the total amount of outstanding loans and
advances to members and former members of
the Supervisory Board was EUR 4.6 million at an
average interest rate of 5.4%.
As at 31 December 2002 two members of the
Supervisory Board held option rights that were
granted in earlier years when they were
members of the Executive Board, specified in the
table below.
