At Cessna, 2010 was a year of taking aggressive action to
position the company for growth in the coming cycle. As a
prime example, at the National Business Aviation Association
Conference in October, Cessna unveiled the Citation TEN
and with it, more cabin space, faster and more fuel-ef cient
engines, advanced avionics and a new fi ber optic-based
cabin management system. In July, Cessna introduced the
Citation Mustang High Sierra Edition—with luxury interiors
and paint scheme, synthetic vision technology and electronic
charts—and announced the availability of iFlite applications
for the new Apple iPad for Cessna single-engine aircraft. Also
in 2010, Cessna announced Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) certi cation of the CJ4, leading to 19 deliveries of this
exciting new product in 2010.
Also to position the company for growth, Cessna increased
its service footprint in 2010. Cessna and Bell Helicopter
teamed to establish their fi rst shared parts distribution and
service centers in Europe and Asia. Cessna added a service
center in the Middle East and began construction of a new
Citation service center in Spain—which has roughly 400
Citation owners within a 90-mile radius. Continuing the
innovative work begun in 2009 to bring Cessna aftermarket
service closer to customers, Cessna also began full-scale
deployment of additional Mobile Service Units in the United
States and Europe.
As a result of employees’ hard work on behalf of Cessna
customers, the company received a number of industry
accolades in 2010:
Customers voted Cessna customer service as the best
in the industry in Professional Pilot’s annual survey.
For the sixth consecutive year, Cessna Citation Service
Centers earned the Aviation Maintenance Technician
Employer Diamond Award of Excellence from the FAA.
The Citation CJ3 and Citation Sovereign made the Robb
Reports annual “Best of the Best” special issue for their
respective categories.
Looking to maintain its leadership position in the aviation
industry, Cessna also began work on a number of new
products, product upgrades and new service offerings—
assuring customers that 2010 was just the beginning
of great things to come from Cessna.

“Our Cessna jets are time machines, which keep us working for our customers
without the stress and waits inherent to commercial air travel. About half of
our employees have made at least one trip in our jet fl eet. Everything’s close
with a Cessna jet.

President, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, United States
