aggregate cost of $5.0 billion, under a modified Dutch auction tender offer.
As of December 31, 2013, $1.6 billion remained available under our Board of Directors-approved stock repurchase program.
Dividends
On July 28 and October 13, 2011, the Board of Directors declared quarterly cash dividends of $0.28 per share of common stock, which were paid on
September 8 and December 8, 2011, respectively. On December 15, 2011, and March 15, July 19 and October 10, 2012, the Board of Directors declared
quarterly cash dividends of $0.36 per share of common stock, which were paid on March 7, June 7, September 7 and December 7, 2012, respectively. On
December 13, 2012, March 6, July 26, and October 16, 2013, the Board of Directors declared quarterly cash dividends of $0.47 per share of common
stock, which were paid on March 7, June 7, September 6, and December 6, 2013, respectively. Additionally, on December 13, 2013, the Board of Directors
declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.61 per share of common stock, which will be paid on March 7, 2014 to all stockholders of record as of the close of
business on February 13, 2014.
