To our Stockholders:
The Annual Meeting of Stockholders of
Alaska Air Group, Inc. will be held at the Museum
of Flight in Seattle, Washington at 2 p.m. on
Tuesday, May 20, 2008, for the following
purposes:
1. To elect six directors, each for a
one-year term;
2. To approve a new 2008 Performance
Incentive Plan;
3. To consider and vote upon the three
stockholder proposals described in the
accompanying proxy statement, if those
proposals are properly presented at the
meeting; and
4. To transact such other business as
may properly come before the meeting or
any adjournment thereof.
Stockholders owning Company common
stock at the close of business on March 14,
2008 are entitled to receive this notice and to
vote at the meeting. All stockholders are
requested to be present in person or by proxy.
For the convenience of stockholders who do not
expect to attend the meeting in person and wish
to have their shares voted, a form of proxy and
an envelope are enclosed. Stockholders may
also vote by internet or telephone. Any
stockholder who later finds that he or she can be
present at the meeting, or for any reason desires
to do so, may revoke his or her proxy at any time
before it is voted.
