Overview of Operations
Leveraging amassed know-how in business systems to
deliver solutions and services
The solutions & services business provides solutions and services using
know-how amassed through our work in offering business systems to
clients in such industries as finance, government agencies, traffic, retail,
and manufacturing.
In the solutions business, we deploy OKI’s technologies and know-
how to provide products that address the various issues of our
customers. For financial institutions, we contribute to increased effi-
ciency of both front-office and back-office administrative processes in
such areas as bank branch systems, centered-administration systems,
and financial call center systems. For government agencies, we offer
salary payment and other business systems that enhance operational
efficiency. Other OKI strong-points include ticket reservations and issuing
systems for the travel and the transportation industry and business sys-
tems for the manufacturing sector.
In the services business, we promote services that deploy OKI’s
strengths to meet the changing needs of customers, from possession to
usage of devices. Other offerings include incorporating cloud-computing
in customers’ systems and shared use of business systems. Some of the
functions that customers entrust to us are ATM operation and monitoring
services, full outsourcing services, electronic settlement services, and
electronic money charge services. Our business in these areas is expand-
ing, and we now boast a top-level market share in Japan. We also have a
network of maintenance service facilities in more than 250 locations
nationwide, enabling us to provide top-class, uniform-quality mainte-
nance services to all customers around Japan.
In these ways, OKI addresses the IT-related needs of customers, from
both the solution and service perspectives.

OKI draws on its mechatronics technology and knowledge of
financial services to provide optimal solutions and services that
meet the needs of financial institutions.
