Shares held by the Board of Management and the Supervi-
sory Board. As of December 31, 2008, the members of the
Board of Management held a total of 2.8 million shares, options
or stock appreciation rights of Daimler AG (0.29% of the shares
issued). As of the same date, members of the Supervisory Board
held a total of 0.1 million shares, options or stock appreciation
rights of Daimler AG (0.08% of the shares issued).
Directors’ dealings. In 2008, the transactions in shares of
Daimler AG or related financial instruments listed in the table
below took place involving members of the Board of Management
and the Supervisory Board (and, pursuant to the provisions of
the German Securities Trading Act, involving persons in a close
