Manpower delivered solid performance in 2014, with improvements
in nearly all geographies, achieving gross profit growth of 5% in
constant currency.
We made good progress and increased efficiencies while driving
value for our clients and candidates. We accelerated the deployment
of Manpower Delivery 2.0, our multi-channel sales and delivery model
that leverages our branches as well as our on-site and digital presence.
We also expanded our Centers of Recruiting Excel lence (CORE) to
Poland, Peru, the Philippines and the United States.
To further drive growth, Manpower improved its sales approach to
better meet client needs and buying focus through improved
client segmentation, which resulted in better sales growth and gross
profit margins.
Experis continued to improve against the market, with gross profit
growth of 9% in constant currency and gross profit margin expansion.
Our teams ably managed changing demand in the IT sector where
cloud-based technology is causing a major shift in skill needs.
Experis also enhanced the client and candidate experience and
deployed our CORE delivery model to increase productivity and
business mix to drive profitability.
We accelerated our performance, and
that of our clients, across our strong and
connected brands.
