2014 “Sharing Beauty With All”
advances
2014 was the first year in the roll-out of the “Sharing Beauty With All”
programme. Convinced that sustainable development
isasource of innovation and inspiration, L’Oréals teams have
focused their efforts on meeting the group’s ambitious
commitments in this field.
On the innovation front, the group is re-evaluating some
1,400ingredients to reduce the environmental footprint of its
formulas and develop the use of renewable ingredients.
Asforsustainable development, the Burgos factory in Spain
inaugurated a biomass plant
(1) which will enable the factory
toreach carbon neutrality in 2015.
(1) A plant that transforms wood waste from local forests and sawmills into energy. (2) Formulas produced in L’Oréal factories in 2014,
