around the world.

where the Company was founded in 1946, and

to develop Hong Kong’s aviation industry
and enhance Hong Kong’s position as a
global transportation hub. In addition to
our fleet of 96 wide-bodied aircraft, these
investments include catering, aircraft
m a i n t e n a n c e a n d g r o u n d h a n d l i n g
co mpani es, as we ll as o ur co rpo rate
headquarters at Hong Kong International
Airport. Cathay Pacific and its subsidiaries
and associates employ over 23,000 staff in
Hon g Kon g . Th e a i r l ine’s t wo m ajor
s h a r e h o l d e rs a r e b o t h H o n g Ko n g
companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock
Exchange, as is Cathay Pacific itself.
Cathay Pacific is the major shareholder in
AHK Air Hong Kong Limited, an all cargo
carrier that offers scheduled services in
the Asian region. Cathay Pacific is also a
s h a r eh o l d er i n H o ng Ko n g D ra g o n
Airlines Limited and Air China Limited.
We are a founding member of the oneworld
global alliance whose combined network
serves some 600 destinations worldwide.
