In specific one-off cases a number of executives are awarded the right to receive NV and PLC shares at a specified date in the future, on the
condition that they are still employed by Unilever at that time.

Other plans
During 2004 Unilever has offered a special cash award to selected senior managers with the purpose of retaining them. This cash-settled
share-based plan provides a payment after three years, on the condition of continued employment with the Group.
