19 CONCENTRATIONS OF CREDIT RISK
The group’s revenues derive principally from airline travel on scheduled services, car hire, inflight and related sales. Revenue is
wholly derived from European routes. No individual customer accounts for a significant portion of total revenue.
20 ANALYSIS OF OPERATING REVENUES
All revenues derive from the group’s principal activity as an airline and includes scheduled services, car hire, internet income, inflight
and related sales.
2005 2004
Revenue is analysed by geographical area (by country of origin) as follows: 000 000
United Kingdom 654,125 518,528
Other European countries 682,461 555,696
1,336,586 1,074,224
2005 2004
Ancillary revenues included in total revenue above comprise: 000 000
Car Hire 45,087 35,110
Inflight 34,939 30,100
Internet income 24,360 17,721
Non-flight scheduled 104,084 66,616
Charter -111
208,470 149,658
All of the group’s operating profit arises from airline related activities. The major revenue earning assets of the group are comprised
of its aircraft fleet, which is registered in Ireland and the United Kingdom and therefore all profits accrue in Ireland and the United
Kingdom. Since the group’s aircraft fleet is flexibly employed across its route network, there is no suitable basis of allocating such
assets and related liabilities to geographical segments. Internet income comprises revenue generated from Ryanair.com excluding
internet car hire revenue which is included under the heading car hire. Non flight scheduled revenue arises from the sale of rail and
bus tickets, hotel reservations and other revenues generated including excess baggage charges.
