Great People, Great Results
We passionately believe that the culture we
foster drives the results we deliver. Simply put,
when we take better care of our franchisees,
they take better care of their teams, the teams
take better care of our guests, and better cared
for guests leads to better results for our
shareholders. It’s the Popeyes chain of
influence, and it’s the key to our success.
To make this chain even more effective, we’re
actively developing servant leaders who can
engage people at all levels of the system. We’re
starting by taking our Regional General
Managers (RGMs) through our leadership
development program, called Lead from the
Heart, which helps them build the capabilities
to drive better team performance. We have also
collaborated with our franchisees to create
tools and resources to support on-the-job skills
development, such as coaching, communication
and accountability building.
And that’s just the beginning. We are working
to find new ways to simplify and streamline
restaurant processes, so RGMs can spend more
time engaging their teams, serving enticing
food, and delivering an exceptional experience
that keeps guests coming back for more.
The Flavors Guests Love
We are passionate about serving guests food
they love, inspired by the distinct flavors,
ingredients and cooking traditions of Louisiana.
Our heritage infuses our menu and drives the
culinary innovation that sets Popeyes apart.
In 2015, we delighted guests and drove sales
with seven successful limited time offers
(LTOs): Ghost Pepper Wings, Red Stick Chicken,
Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken, Hushpuppy
Butterfly Shrimp, Wild Pepper Tenderloins,
Spicy Garlic Butterfly Shrimp, and TABASCO®
Spiced Pepper Barrel Tenders. Notably, Red
Stick Chicken set an all-time weekly sales
record, making it the most successful LTO in
Popeyes history.
These LTOs are a testament to the discipline
and focus we bring to our Louisiana-inspired
culinary innovation. Every new menu item
undergoes rigorous testing to ensure that it is
as bold and distinctive as our brand. In fact, for
every one hundred LTO concepts we create,
typically only one becomes a system-wide LTO.
By ensuring that our menu remains true to our
Louisiana roots, we serve bold, flavorful food
that draws guests to Popeyes.
