Others
In the Others segment, sales declined 15.3% year
on year to ¥45.9 billion, on lower sales of speaker
units for cellular phones and business-use AV sys-
tems, and despite increased sales of factory auto-
mation systems.
By geographic region, sales in Japan declined
19.8% to ¥29.0 billion, while overseas sales
decreased 6.2% to ¥16.8 billion.
Operating income declined to ¥0.1 billion, com-
pared with ¥0.7 billion in fiscal 2010, with reduc-
tions in fixed costs from restructuring not fully off-
setting the decline in sales.
