Strengthening฀Corporate฀Governanceand
Compliance
Amidanincreasingly฀global฀businessenvironment,
strengthening฀corporate฀governance฀to฀boost฀cor-
porate฀value฀on฀a฀long-termbasis฀has฀become฀a฀top
managementpriority.฀We฀have฀alreadyimplemented
a฀number฀ofmeasuresinpast฀yearsdesigned฀to฀
strengthen฀management฀structures,฀such฀as฀the฀in-
house฀companyand฀executive฀officersystems.฀Besides฀
strengthening฀management฀structures,฀wehave฀
implemented฀various฀management฀structural฀reforms,฀
including฀introduction฀ofstockoptions,฀changesto฀
the฀system฀ofdirectors’฀and฀executive฀officers’฀remu-
neration,฀and฀creationof฀an฀ExecutiveCompensation฀
Committee฀to฀boost฀management฀objectivityand฀

and฀rolesof฀seniormanagement.฀
Inthe฀coming฀years,฀we฀will฀continueto฀promote
social฀responsibility฀as฀an฀extremely฀important฀man-
agement฀issue.฀Besides฀providing฀superiorproducts
and฀services,wewillenhancecorporate฀ethics,฀envi-
