Ms. Patmore is a participant in the First Data Corporation Retirement Plan, a tax-qualified plan. Mr. Wall and Mr. Yates are participants in the Defined
Benefit Section of the First Data Resources Limited Pension Scheme, a plan which provides pension benefits to a broad-based group of participants in the
United Kingdom. Plan details for both plans are provided below.
The Company calculates the present values shown on the table using: (i) the same discount rates it uses for FAS 87 calculations for financial reporting
purposes; and (ii) each plan's earliest unreduced retirement age based on the participant's age and service. The present values shown in the table reflect post-
retirement mortality, based on the FAS 87 assumptions, but do not include an assumption of pre-retirement termination, mortality, or disability. FAS 87
assumptions include:
First Data Corporation Retirement Plan: 6.14% discount rate and RP2000 Combined Mortality Table projected to 2009
Defined Benefit Section of the First Data Resources Limited Pension Scheme: 6.7% discount rate and Standard 92 series mortality tables with
medium cohort subject to a minimum rate of improvement of 1% per year from 2007 onwards
