Creative Business
This business segment provides high value-added products and solutions which support creative users’ passion and
answer their needs. Applicable products are pen tablets (Intuos, Bamboo), creative displays (Cintiq) and mobile (Inkling).
Consumer Business
This business segment provides simple and intuitive user interface solutions for all sorts of users with a view to making
everyday lives more creative and enjoyable. Applicable products are Bamboo Stylus and others.
Vertical Market Business
This business segment provides innovative solutions and faster, more secure and efficient business processes via paper-
less and high-security operations. Applicable products are STU (sign tablets) and DT-series (LCD tablets).
In order to support these businesses, we provide software and services via cloud platforms. Applicable products are soft-
ware products such as Bamboo Paper, Bamboo Loop and Sign & Save.
This business focuses on user interface solution components including pen-input and multi-touch technologies for smart-
phones, tablets and e-book terminals.

As a long time Wacom pen tablet user, I think the Cintiq series is amazing. It very much
reminds me of an old drawing board, but the pen tablet digitizes and records ideas, it
helps people to spur creativity and speed up the communication process. With Wacom
pen tablets, we can identify and highlight important ideas and make them come to frui-
tion.
I believe design; like creativity, is a journey of love. Good design is initially attractive and
over a period of time you should move from “liking” a product to “loving” a product, just
like in a personal relationship between human beings. Design should guide the user and
create an emotional connection, which transforms the entire experience.
I would say that Wacom tablets are the tools of choice to really help the professional cre-
ative through this journey of discovery and enable us to communicate our vision to our
customers. On the other hand, I think Wacom products are also capable of giving every-
body the power to be creative, just like cameras have allowed everyone to capture great
moments in life.
Brand Business
This business focuses on Wacom-branded products such as pen tablets. To achieve our mid-term plan “WAP1215”,
which started this fiscal year, we have adopted a new set-up to group this business by user characteristics.
Creative Business
The “Intuos” and “Bamboo” pen tablets will spur your creativity thanks to their pressure-sensitive pen and multi
finger touch gesture. Drawing on such high performance, the “Cintiq” series also boasts premier-grade LCD and
ergonomic design. The “Inkling” allows you to capture the sketch as digital data straight away, as you draw on
paper. We will continue to strengthen line-up in this area. As part of such efforts, we are working on new products
which let you move away from the desk and immerse yourself in creative jobs anywhere anytime.
