of Merck & Co., Inc. from June 1992 to January 1994.

Shirley Ann Jackson has been a director since June
2001. Has been President of Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute since July 1999. Was Chairman of the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission from 1995 to 1999.
Was Professor of Theoretical Physics at Rutgers University
and concurrently served as a Consultant in semicon-
ductor theory to the former AT&T Bell Laboratories from
1991 to 1995.
Thomas A. Renyi has been a director since February
