segment฀were฀launched,฀augmenting฀our฀
base฀of฀consumer฀products฀and฀services.฀

customer฀experience.
Our฀New฀Product฀Innovation฀is฀a฀formal฀
process฀that฀monetizes฀innovation฀by฀turn-
ing฀ideas฀generated฀across฀the฀Company฀
into฀market-relevant฀solutions.฀Last฀year,฀
NPI฀revenue฀hit฀$176฀million฀for฀products฀
introduced฀in฀the฀past฀three฀years,฀with฀
each฀of฀the฀Company’s฀business฀units฀
achieving฀signicant,฀real฀NPI฀growth.
The฀synergies฀we฀achieved฀from฀previ-
ous฀acquisitions฀have฀allowed฀Equifax฀to฀
bring฀new฀value฀to฀our฀clients.฀With฀The฀
Work฀Number,฀our฀ability฀to฀integrate฀credit฀
data฀with฀employment฀and฀income฀insights฀

major฀customers฀expanded฀their฀relation-

With฀the฀management฀disciplines฀of฀
efciency-enhancing฀programs฀LEAN฀and฀
Work-Out฀fully฀seeded฀throughout฀the฀
Company,฀we฀are฀achieving฀substantial฀
productivity฀and฀cost฀savings.฀Internally,฀
these฀efforts฀have฀energized฀the฀employee฀
base฀by฀bringing฀sharp฀focus฀to฀strategic฀
priorities฀and฀reducing฀non-core฀activity.
Our฀concentration฀on฀executing฀our฀
strategic฀vision฀led฀to฀divestitures฀that฀en-
abled฀us฀to฀maintain฀that฀tight฀focus฀and฀
provide฀additional฀nancial฀and฀manage-
ment฀resources฀for฀critical฀growth฀op-
portunities.฀In฀2010,฀the฀Direct฀Marketing฀
Services฀(DMS)฀unit฀was฀sold฀to฀Alliance฀
Data฀Systems,฀generating฀$117฀million฀for฀
reinvestment฀and฀transferring฀the฀operation฀
and฀all฀employees฀intact฀to฀a฀top฀player฀in฀
the฀eld.฀Similarly,฀Equifax฀sold฀the฀APPRO฀
suite฀of฀loan฀origination฀software฀to฀CRIF฀
Corp.฀for฀$72฀million.
