Earnings decline as expected, EBIT down 20.7% to
$5.5 billion and underlying EBIT down 6.9% to
$6.5 billion.
Prot for the year declined 26.2% to $3.2 billion.
Total income increased 2.9% and sales revenue
increased 2.7%.
Second half sales revenue up 3.9%.
Retail broadband revenue up 58%, mobiles revenue
up 6.1% and Sensis revenue up 6.9%.
PSTN revenue decline slowed in the second half,
down 6.7% for the year.
Operating expenses were up 13.8%; excluding
transformation costs operating expenses were
up 9.2%.
$962 million of net transformation costs all incurred
in second half.
Free cash ow strong at $4.6 billion.
Final ordinary dividend of 14 cents per share, bringing
total ordinary dividends declared to 28 cents per share.
Basic earnings per share decreased to 25.7 cents per
share due to lower prot in the year.
