Price Range of Common Stock
SLM Corporation common stock trades on the New
York Stock Exchange under the symbol SLM. The following
table sets forth the high and low sale prices for the
Company’s common stock for each full quarterly period in
the two most recent fiscal years:

The Company paid regular quarterly dividends of $.175
per share on the common stock in each of the first three
quarters of 2001, $.20 per share for the fourth quarter of
2001 and the first, second and third quarters of 2002 and
$.25 per share for the fourth quarter of 2002 and first
quarter of 2003.
