Fluctuation in Quarterly Results
Our quarterly results have historically varied depending upon a variety of factors, including our product
offerings, promotional events, store openings, shifts in the timing of holidays and the timing of Source Book
releases, among other things. As a result of these factors, our working capital requirements and demands on our
product distribution and delivery network may fluctuate during the year.
Regulation and Legislation
We are subject to labor and employment laws, laws governing truth-in-advertising, privacy laws, safety
regulations and other laws, including consumer protection regulations that regulate retailers and govern the
promotion and sale of merchandise and the operation of stores and warehouse facilities. We monitor changes in
these laws and believe that we are in material compliance with applicable laws.
