and Massachusetts and Texas, which are used by Radica Games Limited (“Radica”). Mattel leases a computer
facility in Phoenix, Arizona used by all segments. Internationally, Mattel has offices and/or warehouse space in
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Macau,
Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, South Korea,
Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Venezuela, which are leased (with the
exception of office space in Chile, certain warehouse space in France, and office and warehouse space in Hong
Kong that is owned by Mattel) and used by the International segment. Mattel also has leased retail and related
office space in China. Mattel’s principal manufacturing facilities are located in China, Indonesia, Thailand,
Malaysia, and Mexico. See Item 1 “Business—Manufacturing and Materials.”
For leases that are scheduled to expire during the next twelve months, Mattel may negotiate new lease
agreements, renew existing lease agreements, or utilize alternate facilities. See Item 8 “Financial Statements and
Supplementary Data—Note 12 to the Consolidated Financial Statements—Commitments and Contingencies.”
Mattel believes that its owned and leased facilities, in general, are suitable and adequate for its present and
currently foreseeable needs.
