We have audited, in accordance with the standards of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (United States),
the consolidated financial statements of Exxon Mobil Corporation as of December 31, 2007, and 2006, and for each of the
three years in the period ended December 31, 2007, and in our report dated February 28, 2008, we expressed an unqualified
opinion thereon. The consolidated financial statements referred to above (not presented herein) appear in Appendix A to the
Proxy Statement for the 2008 annual meeting of shareholders of the Corporation.
As discussed in Note 2 to the consolidated financial statements, the Corporation changed its method of accounting for
uncertainty in income taxes in 2007.
In our opinion, the information set forth in the accompanying condensed consolidated financial statements (pages 37-40)
is fairly stated, in all material respects, in relation to the consolidated financial statements from which it has been derived.
