2001, $2.3 billio n in new market value fo r shareho lders. My sincere thanks
to the emplo yees o f Equifax and Certegy fo r making this happen.
Equifax is the o nly co mpany in the Standard & Po o r’s 500 to po st eight
consecutive quarters of stock price gro wth. Equifax share price ro se
45 percent during the year, o utperfo rming the S&P 500 by 58 percent.
In additio n, Equifax was ranked in the top five in return o n equity in
Business W eek’s listing published in 2001.
