Segments below the quantitative thresholds are classified as “other.” The components of the “other”
classification have not met any of the quantitative thresholds for determining reportable segments.
Management has included the wholesale propane and natural gas compression services operations in “other”
for all periods presented in this report because such operations are not material.
Intersegment and intrasegment transactions are generally based on transactions made at market-related rates.
Consolidated revenues and expenses reflect the elimination of all material intercompany transactions.
We evaluate the performance of our operating segments based on operating income, which includes
allocated selling, general and administrative expenses. The following tables present the financial
information by segment for the following periods:
